I knew I could be better than I was manifesting. I had the motivation but I needed a ‘guide’ a ‘road map’. Negroes, Black people and Africans was the guide I needed, importantly from somebody who looked like me, knew the challenges which can fester for people of a darker hue. The key was the chapter which dealt with personal finance, it was the practical ‘road map’ I needed.

Several years on my finances are in great shape because I followed Ifayomi’s financial ‘road map’. Better shape to me means; I have additional ways of making money other than just my job. I have also developed a portfolio career. More importantly is what Ifayomi has taught me to do with my money. I am currently five years away from being able to pay off all my financial liabilities (including mortgages) and being able to finance my lifestyle independent from my job salary, where I was recently made employee of the year. And through a standing order to ABDF Ltd I have a way to contribute to my community which gives me incredible satisfaction and peace of mind.

If you think you can and want to be better than you’re currently manifesting, buy this book and read all Ifayomi’s newsletters, they provide the ‘road map’ I’ve been following. I’m on track for complete financial independence, stronger alternative income streams, in a conscious way to finance my lifestyle, before I reach 50 years old. Although I’ve not attended any of his courses I’ve met the man several times, which gave me additional ‘soft’ material and a sense of ‘I can’ needed to push on with the guidance in the books and newsletters.

Buy the book, read the book, join the courses, meet the man, apply the lessons and your life is likely to get a whole lot better, mine did.

ELAINE CHAMBERS

I have been privileged to enjoy reading the Newsletter produced by Paul Ifayomi for around four years now. At first, admittedly, I did not really take note of the issues contained therein but as my consciousness has grown, I realised that the expressions therein were for my benefit and worthy of acceptance.

Over the years I have gained vast knowledge of websites and other writings that affect the Afrikan community and the very underhanded ways that those in authority try to suppress us as a people in their handling of situations. Through ignorance I personally thought it was for my better but now I know better.

The main assistance I have gained from the Newsletter is the financial advice and help to rework my monies so they give me a better return. It has helped to keep me stable and relatively debt-free with very few complications and an insight for continued stability for myself and future generations. I usually receive the Newsletter via email and have accessed some further readings on line.

I am thrilled that Ifayomi is progressing to on-line courses and having attended courses run by him, would encourage all to get on board. You will come away wiser and empowered to deal with your circumstances.

SHINGAI MASEKWA

I am 50+ Afrikan of Caribbean background. I have attended a Black Economics for Human Development Course and a financial development workshop undertaken by Ifayomi. I have read a number of his Navig8tor newsletters and most of his excellent publications.

I found his presentations well researched, offering clear critical analysis, relevant to the experience of Black people in Britain rather than transposing the Afrikan American narrative.

I have used much of his teachings to:

  • Improve my own financial literacy, which has seen me through many ‘rainy days’ as well as making wise investments that have enabled me to fulfil some life goals.
  • Develop my political and cultural awareness; equipping me with the necessary skills to address personal, family and community issues armed with appropriate references and statistics.

Ifayomi links historical, and contemporary national and global events, enabling his audience to make the necessary connections with our experience in the UK, giving insight to the task at hand, as well as offering practical solutions.

ADEOLA AKINTIMEHIN

The “GRAND IN YOUR HAND” course was quite relaxed and went at a good pace providing people with the opportunity to ask questions. The instructions were easy to follow and having the booklet with me provided me with a quick reminder of each step needed to secure the money.

It took me roughly 2 weeks to make over £1500.

Since then I have followed the same process for all my family at home and I’m now taking a few days off work to make some money for my friends and others.

The course is definitely good value for money I can’t think of many other things where you can get 10 times the amount you invested.

ZITA GRANT

I am really excited about Ifayomi’s new e-learning platform. To be able to access a learning medium that offers flexibility in the way it does caters for my lifestyle and will help me to achieve my goals. The variety of subjects/topics on offer are very attractive and I will certainly be signing up to some of these too!

I have a tremendous amount of respect for Ifayomi Grant. He is a first class author who has written numerous books on social issues. His monthly newsletters are first rate, challenging and thought-provoking.

Despite his busy schedule he has a passion to help people fulfill their goals and dreams (as well as his own!)  and will always find the time to have a conversation with you. He sets high standards for himself in delivering and setting up any project he is involved in.  That is, he gives 100% in terms of quality and service (including customer service).

PARADIGM SHIFT

This is a powerful theme for the seasons. We as a people, as a truly global family, have sojourned many long distances throughout our history. We have had our essential civilization disrupted to its very core. Yet, all along this great journey there has arisen within every generation a vanguard of critical voices bringing redemption, redirection, leadership, instruction and encouragement.

I have had the immense pleasure of becoming a close friend, associate, instructor and collaborator with this brilliant UK-based scholar, Ifayomi Grant. Ifayomi’s family cultural roots rise from the distinct and rich environment of Caribbean, Jamaican heritage. His own journey of scholarly ascendance has emerged from these nutritionally-rich Caribbean soils via his UK birthplace and has transcended the various continents of the globe. I have witnessed how Ifayomi draws from the history, culture and wisdom of all of planet Earth. His writings consistently reflect nourishing from the deep wellspring of the Ancients of the Nile Valley, industriousness of Asia, structural integrity as witnessed within European scientific organization, deep organic roots of the peoples of the hemispheric south and more.

One particularly inspiring body of Ifayomi’s scholarship has been the depth and extent to which he has comprehended the complex set of historical experiences which emerged from the African American experience, which has itself produced a large set of truly valuable transformative analyses. When I read from my brother Ifayomi’s essays, I am at once reminded of the great contributions of Malcolm X, Martin L. King Jr., Ida Wells-Barnett, Harriet Tubman and numerous others whose spirit and intellect were nurtured within the American crucible.

A paradigm shift presumes a significant comprehension of the past, proper orientation in the present, as well as a profound optimism regarding the road ahead. For us to succeed upon this journey we must produce an authenticity within our leadership and intellectual vanguard. I am proud to say that all of these positive affirmations apply to the scholarly work of my beloved brother, teacher and comrade, Ifayomi Grant.

SIS DEE

Wow! What can I say about Ifayomi and his books! Absolutely fantastic reading, well researched and especially coming from a UK based intelligent thinker. Not only does he give the reader an in-depth sense of what is going on in ‘our’ world, past to present, he presents this information so that even a learner to African world issues will have no problem understanding and he is so amusing as he jumps to ‘real talk’ JA style now and again. There are so many facts with figures that even the most seasoned conscious person would have little to debate!

I have been following Ifayomi for about 4 years! He was a speaker at a relationship seminar and he gave an excellent delivery on the state of African male to female relationships – I bought his book ‘What’s love got to do with it’ and admittedly did not read it until many months after. Initially I did have some misgivings as I thought it might be another self appointed relationship expert basing everything upon what ‘they’ believe and proving no facts but boy was I mistaken! This book along with ‘Blue Skies for Afrikans’ is (in my opinion) the best African centred self /group development book out there! These books tell the reader where ‘our’ problems started historically, the present problems we face as a result and the realistic solutions if applied correctly to avoid a desolate future. Ifayomi’s take pulls no punches and makes no apologies!!

Ifayomi might be modest about this but I consider him to be the UK equivalent of the late great Dr Amos Wilson and he deserves much more recognition in the conscious community. I have gained so much knowledge, learnt how to think critically, can now hold my own very confidently in matters concerning ‘our’ people to others and am amazed through his teachings how much of ‘our’ history and ‘their’ history has been conveniently covered up. I encourage anyone who hasn’t already to subscribe to his newsletters which are fantastic, informative and heavily detailed. This brother knows his onions on finance and is soon starting an e-learning programme of which I will definitely be signing up to.

Ifayomi could have walked away from ‘our’ people years ago, brothers like him are so few and far between and when they come along it is up to ‘us’ to learn from them, support them, cover them and take what we have learned to move ‘our’ next generation forward for a more productive person, family, community, nation.

NUBIAN JAK COMMUNITY TRUST LIMITED

The Nubian Jak Community Trust Staff team have been receiving the e-Newsletter produced by Ifayomi since 2012. The e-Newsletter is well received and informative, and certainly adds value to some of the workshops our organisation does in schools around diversity and economics.

I first came across Ifayomi’s work after buying a book on debt management in 2010. Ever since then I have remained a fan, and had no hesitation in introducing his work to the staff team I work with as soon as I started to receive his e-Newsletter in 2012.

Ifayomi’s newsletters are very well researched and add a lot of insight into current affairs, especially offering a fresh perspective when seen from a different cultural view point. I have already recommended Ifayomi’s work to others, and will continue to do so as he is a unique and talented writer, and often covers issues not addressed in other Newsletters or blogs.
