Ifayomi Grant has been a serial entrepreneur since 1988 when he started his first business at the age of 22. As well as being an entrepreneur, he is the author of seven books which provide insightful analysis into the condition of African people globally. He has lectured and run workshops across the UK and in the US, Africa and continental Europe. The five legged stool of economic development is the latest iteration of a conceptual model developed by Ifayomi Grant to assist lay people to understand the fundamental areas they need to examine and address when considering their personal finances, community economic development and macro-economic policy. This means that this model can be used as the basis for considering your money and wealth, your community’s (be it geographic, ethnic/racial or other) money flows, as well as a nation’s economic policies and performance.
